To be or not to be a mother, that is the question. Milagros (37) stretches a carefree youth in her last years of fertility, while Jonathan (24,) seeks solace in Grindr in order to overcome abandonment issues. Friendship and driving ease the disorientation caused by the deceptive freedom of the early 21st century. A delirious Road Movie full of music, where a mysterious mermaid with a magic crown will set the course of the journey.
MARÍA GISÈLE ROYO. She has been awarded an Student Academy Award, an Emmy College Student Award and the Premio Fundación Buesa y Extremadocs. María has participated in several international film festivals like Seville European Film Festival, CamerImage, One World Romania and Huesca Film Festival. In the midst of the economic crisis, María founded an audiovisual production company that has developed since 2011. With it, she has come to present her work at a public hearing in the European Parliament, and at the UNHCR Global Refugee Forum in Geneva. She is a born collaborator : among other movies, she has worked in El Silencio de Otros”, winner of two Emmys and the Peace and Audience awards at Berlinale. She also participated in "H." as Art Director, winner of an Independent Spirit Award, premiering at Venice Film festival, to then go to Sundance and Berlinale, among many others. She is currently also teaching in Berlin at the BA and Master of Film at the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology. For a year, she crossed the Pan-American highway when Google Maps didn’t exist; The ON THE GO spirit is in her blood. JULIA DE CASTRO. Founder of DE LA PURÍSSIMA, a stage project that toured the world for a decade until its theatrical death directed by Julia herself with 70 musicians and for which she was nominated as best actress for the prestigious Valle Inclán Awards. She has released two albums and written a book on prostitution, La Retorica Delle Puttane, published by the editorial La Fábrica. Since September 2021 she collaborates on Radio 3 with her own section inside the program "Que parezca un accidente" where she talks about classic cars and cinema. She boasts of her Avila origins that, without being glamorous, provide her with the mysticism, determination and seriousness of the Saints who inhabited the same walls. A key figure in Spanish culture portrayed by Óscar Tusquets in a painting displayed in the Can Framis Catalan Art Museum, which led to the creation of the film ANATOMÍA DE UNA CRIMINAL in 2015 with Javier Giner, a piece that accumulates awards in Film Festivals. It doesn't matter which expression she chooses; music, literature, theatre or cinema, everything that comes from Julia has an interest, especially if it has to do with sex and the female body.
