In the Paris of 1978, old formulas do not charm listeners anymore and new music must arise. In a male-dominated industry, Ana uses her electronic gadgets to make herself heard, creating a new sound that will mark the decades to come: the music of the future.
Today recognized internationally as a producer of Nouvelle Vague, the name of Marc Collin has not ceased to be associated with multiple projects, and this since his first musical experiences in the late 80s. Everything starts in the Parisian suburbs in 1986, Marc Collin rubs shoulders and plays with all that will later make the "Versailles touch": Nicolas Godin (future Air), Alex Gopher, Arnaud Rebotini (future Black Strobe) and especially Xavier Jamaux. In 2003, he began to think about a very specific and innovative idea: rearrange the post punk classics of his adolescence in bossa nova, reggae etc. His ambitious idea is to demonstrate that the equation "New Wave = Bossa Nova = Nouvelle Vague" is possible, since these three terms have literally the same meaning... The first album of Nouvelle Vague (directed by Olivier Libaux) then released in 2004 at Peacefrog. Four albums will follow with the participation of many guests as Martin Gore (Depeche Mode), Terry Hall (the Specials), Vanessa Paradis, Julien Doré and Charlie Winston. In 2018, he makes his first feature film LE CHOC DU FUTUR dealing with the beginning of the electronic music from a female perspective.
